INTRODUCTION

Please start by carefully reading the present terms of service (« Terms »)  because they are binding and govern your use of the CAREERINCONSULTING.COM website (which means the website accessible via the following URL: https://careerinconsulting.com/).

Those Terms apply between Sébastien Ritter (referred to as « CAREERINCONSULTING.COM», « We » or « Us ») and Registered Candidates ( referred to as « You » or « Registered Members »).

Non registered candidates (« Users »), automatically agree to these Terms and to our Privacy and Cookie Policy, to the extent applicable, simply by using the CAREERINCONSULTING.COM website. Registered Members will be required to specifically agree to these Terms as part of the registration process as their acceptance constitutes a prerequisite for using CAREERINCONSULTING.COM services.

The last update of the present Terms is June 16th, 2022.

1. PURPOSE OF CAREERINCONSULTING.COM WEBSITE

The purpose of the CAREERINCONSULTING.COM website is to assist the Users and the Registered Candidates in their journey to join consulting firms. Towards this end, CAREERINCONSULTING.COM aims to offer various tools or services to prepare for interviews and intending to increase their chances of success.

2. REGISTRATION PROCESS

To use most of the services available on the CAREERINCONSULTING.COM website, you will be required to register and create an account. Once the registration process is completed, you will then become a « Registered Candidate ».

2.1 Description of the registration process

To register, a User will be first required to provide his/her name, email address, and personal password.

CAREERINCONSULTING.COM will then send an activation link to the provided email address in order to verify its accuracy. The registration process will be completed by clicking on this link.

Registered Members are then provided with access to a personal account and will benefit from a personal profile on which they will be invited to freely fulfill information about themselves.

2.2 Obligations related to the registration process

(i) To become Registered Members, users must be of age and entitled to contract.

(ii) Information provided under the registration process shall be lawful, accurate, and up to date. As a result :

• CAREERINCONSULTING.COM may delete or ask a Registered Member to modify any piece of information that would come to the attention of CAREERINCONSULTING.COM as being unlawful, inaccurate, or outdated and;
• in case of later change of any information provided, a Registered Member is required to update the relevant information.

(iii) Registered Members are only allowed to register once on the CAREERINCONSULTING.COM website and may therefore have only one CAREERINCONSULTING.COM personal profile;

(iv) Registered Members’ account being strictly personal, Registered Members are responsible to keep their registration data confidential and not disclose their password to any third party. Registered Members are responsible for all actions conducted from their CAREERINCONSULTING.COM account unless they have not been negligent in any way.

2.3 Termination of the registration

Any Registered Member and CAREERINCONSULTING.COM are both allowed to terminate at all times and without delay the present agreement. To do so, the Registered Member shall send an email through the contact section in order to have his/her personal account deleted.

The termination of his/her account by a Registered Candidate will necessarily prevent him/her from accessing any Solution that such Registered Candidate might have purchased on the CAREERINCONSULTING.COM.

 

3. CAREERINCONSULTING.COM SERVICES

3.1 Description of the services

Services provided by CAREERINCONSULTING.COM consist of offering Registered Candidates different tools or services to prepare for interviews in very selected consulting firms. Towards this end, CAREERINCONSULTING.COM offers the possibility for Registered Members to purchase access, for a 12 months period, to a specific Solution (« Solution») made available on the Solutions page. 

CAREERINCONSULTING.COM also provides access for free to the Blog page where content is published exclusively by Sébastien Ritter.

3.2 Obligations of CAREERINCONSULTING.COM related to the services and limitation of liability

(i) CAREERINCONSULTING.COM will do its best effort to provide a high level of access to the services but may not warrant continuous access.

(ii) CAREERINCONSULTING.COM is responsible for the content published by CAREERINCONSULTING.COM on the Blog page.

(iii) CAREERINCONSULTING.COM may stop providing all or some of the services, or modify the services in any way at all times without any reason. In case such change would lead to a substantial change of the present Terms, this would be notified to You before entering into effect in compliance with Article 7 below.

3.3 Obligations of Registered Candidates related to the services

(i) Obligation of payment

Registered Candidates commit to paying the price of any product or service they might purchase through the CAREERINCONSULTING.COM website, such as an individual or collective coaching session they have booked, or any Solution to which they have purchased access on the Solutions page.

(ii) Obligations specific to individual coaching sessions :

A Registered Candidate who has booked a coaching session shall be on time.

However, in case the Registered Candidate did not manage to connect at the scheduled time, Sébastien Ritter is required to wait for him/her for 20 minutes, but may decide to terminate the session at the end of the initial slot.

If, after 20 minutes late, the Registered Candidate still did not show up, Sébastien Ritter is free not to provide the session and the Registered Candidate will not be entitled to ask for a reimbursement.

(iii) Obligations specific to collective coaching sessions (or « Events ») :

Considering that an Event includes several Registered Candidates and a limited number of seats, it is not possible for Sébastien Ritter to reschedule an Event because a participant that has registered is facing a setback. As a result, and in compliance with Article 221-28.12 of the Consumer Code, Registered Candidates do not benefit from a right of withdrawal when booking places for an Event.

(iv) Obligations specific to the Solutions Page:

When selecting a Solution on the Solutions Page, a Registered Candidate has the possibility to purchase access, for a 12 months period, to the selected Solution. The Registered Candidate understands that all intellectual property rights related to the Content belong to CAREERINCONSULTING.COM and that CAREERINCONSULTING.COM only grants him/her a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access the Solution exclusively for personal use within the conditions provided under Article 5 below.

As a result, the Registered Candidate commits not to share, disclose or transfer any part of the Solution and to exclusively use it for his/her personal purpose. At the end of the 6 months period, the Registered Candidate will no longer be entitled to access the Solution.

4. PAYMENT 

The CAREERINCONSULTING.COM website offers both paid and free of charge services.

When purchasing a paid service or product, such as a coaching session, or a « Solution» from the Solutions page, a Registered Candidate commits to paying the price announced.

Payments are processed by Registered Candidates through an online payment solution made available by the « stripe.com » or “PayPal.com” websites. We invite you to read carefully our Privacy and Cookies Policy for more details as well as legal terms and policies issued by the « stripe.com » and “paypal.com” websites as they might apply to the payment process.

All the payments are secured and operated by PayPal and Stripe companies.

5. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

Registered Members warrant to have knowledge of intellectual property rights set out below.

To the extent that legal conditions are met, all elements (i) constituting the graphic charter and the structure of the CAREERINCONSULTING.COM website or (ii) posted by CAREERINCONSULTING.COM on its website, including but not limited to any presentation, text, graphic, logo, video sequence, photography or any document available for download, are protected by intellectual property rights and shall not be used in any way whatsoever without a prior specific written consent from CAREERINCONSULTING.COM.

The CAREERINCONSULTING.COM brand is a registered trademark. Any total or partial reproduction of this brand without the prior written consent of CAREERINCONSULTING.COM is prohibited.

The products, whether modified or not, and all intellectual property and copyright contained therein, are and shall at all times remain the sole and exclusive property of CAREERINCONSULTING.COM. You agree that under no circumstances, whether the product has been modified or not, shall you have or attempt to claim ownership of any intellectual property rights or copyright in the product.

6. WARRANTIES AND REFUNDS

Once a product has been purchased by you, no right of cancellation or refund exists under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations due to the electronic nature of our products.

Any refunds shall be at the sole and absolute discretion of CAREERINCONSULTING.COM.

You agree that under no circumstances whatsoever shall you initiate any chargebacks via your payment provider. You agree that any payments made by you for any of the CAREERINCONSULTING.COM products are final and may not be charged back. CAREERINCONSULTING.COM reserves the right to alter any of our prices from time to time.

7. PRIVACY POLICY

In the course of providing the CAREERINCONSULTING.COM Services, CAREERINCONSULTING.COM may process Personal Data relating to you that is collected, either directly from you, or from your use of CAREERINCONSULTING.COM Services. 8. MODIFICATION TO THE PRESENT TERMS OF SERVICE

CAREERINCONSULTING.COM reserves the right to change some services offered on its website, in particular by providing new features or by modifying or removing some of the currently available ones.

As a result, CAREERINCONSULTING.COM reserves the right to modify, at any time, all or part of the present Terms. Thus, the « last updated date » indicated above would be modified accordingly. Registered Members are therefore invited to regularly consult the present Terms. In the event of material changes to the present Terms, CAREERINCONSULTING.COM will also send an email to all Registered Members to notify them. If Registered Members continue to access or use the CAREERINCONSULTING.COM website, they will be deemed to have accepted the amended Terms.
